Benefits of the Tablet PC in Teaching

I knew that a Tablet was recommended for teachers and now I know why. It's so easy and convenient to use especially with all the options you have. All you need to do is hook your Tablet into the LCD projector and then you can control everything that goes on on the board straight from your PC. You control the music, you control the videos, you can write and you can also make perfect drawings especially when you use the ritePen application which makes your circles, lines, and squares just perfect.
In addition to that, the tablet PC is lighter than the laptop and can be used just like a notebook, which saves you the trouble of needing to balance your laptop on one hand while trying to type with the other.
I really recommend a Tablet PC if you want to make your classroom advanced technologically and make your life easier...

  2. You know Dhika, what matters is that you get a fast one with dual core. Otherwise, it will be too slow to be useful...

  4. Hey Carolina,
A tablet is a laptop whose screen can turn to the other side and you can close it again and use it as a copybook by using a special pen and write on the screen. The computer transforms your handwriting into typed text or you can keep it in handwritten format. When you hook it to the LCD projector, it's much easier to use. You wouldn't need to use the marker or chalk anymore because you can easily write on it while the students see what you are writing on the board via the LCD projector. Cool, no?

  5. Hi Charbel,
You are right, anyone should go for dual core tablet. Mine was totally useless. The ultra low-voltage processor only suits netbooks, which lag on many graphic tasks. By the way, does your tablet graphic is powered with graphic card such ati or nvidia? If yes, that is super cool.
